Office Assistant: Help people find their center on the edge of the World. The Sitka Center for Art and Ecology needs an outstanding well-organized person with excellent verbal and writing ability who can make people feel welcome in person and on the phone.

Every year from May to September hundreds of artistic and ecologically minded folks from all over the country flock to the Sitka Center to participate in dynamic workshops in art, music, and ecology. We need a flexible, energetic person to help out in the office during our busy workshop season. We may also need help providing support for our Art Invitational in Portland that is our largest fundraiser every year. This is a temporary part-time position that will work closely with the Office Manager to deliver on a variety of programmatic goals but includes talking to customers and donors. Position open until filled. Applicants should bring joy to their work, have a working knowledge of computers (mac platform ideal), and be excited about working as part of a team to deliver great customer service to the people who visit our intimate campus on the Oregon Coast.
