After 45 years as a professional artist, Clarke's work encompasses many techniques and styles, from atmospheric landscapes, strong figurative pieces to abstract and experimental work. He has taught classes in painting, watercolor, drawing and collage for the University of Oregon, Portland State University, Lane Community College and Maude Kerns Art Center.
