Wood and linocut printmaking, pastel drawing

Technique
I work in the traditional medium of blockprint, carving with knives and gouges on blocks of wood or linoleum and printing them on paper. I also work in drawing, using pastel on paper.

Interests
I like to take my images and subjects directly from my personal experience and so my work is always, in a sense, autobiographical, and illustrative of the times, places, people and issues that relate to my life.

A cold stream on a hot day
