Technique
Quilts: My quilts are my original designs based on the symmetry of tessellated tiles. All my quilts are designed, sewn and quilted by me. Watercolor: I painted watercolors for many years, taking many, many lessons. Now I'm going back to oils, trying collage, printmaking, monoprints, etc., but always working.

Interests
My husband and I have made several trips to Europe where I spend my time making small 8" x 10" watercolors on the spot. I love coming home with these paintings. We always visit the art museums, I especially like the German Expressionists for their use of strong color and design. My favorite artist is Gabriella Munter.
