The Art of the Word

6pm to 7:15pm reading and discussion in Boyden Studio

Sitka Literary Arts Fellow Adam Swanson will host an in-person author reading at the Sitka Center with writers Omar El Akkad, Demian DinéYazhi' and Lidia Yuknavitch on The Art of the Word. This event will also serve as a celebration of the more than one hundred book titles that Swanson has curated as new additions to Sitka's Hale Reference Library. Come browse the books from 5 to 6pm and then enjoy readings and discussion.

There is limited parking available on-site at Sitka Center. Overflow parking will be directed to Knight Park (2-minutes away) and passengers will be shuttled to Sitka Center from there and back.

This event is free, in person and open to the public.
