I have spent my life by the coast, and all my artwork has its roots in my love of the sea. My work indifferent media ranges from tactile porcelain ware to fiber art, watercolor landscapes and abstract encaustics. I am a mixed-race Chinese-American who relocated from Kauai to Oregon in 2014.

My art practice is currently centered on “Ghost Net Landscape,” an ongoing series of community-interactive installations transforming reclaimed fishing gear into art. Using a mix of "ghost net" lost or abandoned at sea, as well as responsibly recycled gear from commercial fisheries, each unique creation honors the materials, their histories, and the communities of ocean lovers who make this work possible.
