After spending the past 40 years as a CPA, Dan retired at the end of 2016.  He has come to know Sitka through his wife, JoAnn’s participation in workshops, and he strongly believes in Sitka’s mission to promote the relationship between the arts and the natural environment. Dan and JoAnn have a connection to the coast through a beach home in Lincoln City. Dan is an avid hiker and jazz musician. He is a board member with the Friends of Chamber Music in Portland and on the board of Star Satellite Improvement District, a local water district in Banks, OR where he and JoAnn live.
