Scholarship applications will be accepted throughout the workshop season while funds are available.
The Sitka Center offers scholarships to individuals who require financial assistance to participate in a Sitka workshop. Awards are granted based on financial need and the benefit that will be gained through taking the workshop.
The scholarship fund was established by private donations, and continues as long as funds are available. To support this program, please visit our donation page. Two Jeanne Lynch Memorial Scholarships will be awarded to two deserving applicants. The scholarship will cover tuition and provide $200 toward living/travel expenses.
To apply, please write a letter of interest to the Oregon Coast Recorder Society, c/o Sitka Center for Art and Ecology, 56605 Sitka Drive, Otis, Oregon 97368. In addition to your name, postal and email addresses and telephone number, tell us why you would like to attend this workshop, what recorders you play and how long you have played. The letter should be postmarked no later than March 15 and a decision will be made by March 20.
