Workshop Overview

Learn the art of creating a personalized silver locket or a small treasure box, a wearable or decorative piece that incorporates sheet metal, wire and stones. Learn techniques for sawing, piercing, creating surface patterns and layering metals, soldering and stone setting to create a one-of-a-kind locket that can hold photos inside, or a small-scale box to hold personal treasures. We will work in sterling silver and construct three-dimensional shapes with functional closures and optional latches for wearable neckpieces.
