Workshop Overview

Create an accordion fold art book that holds inspiration from the natural surroundings of Sitka. Start with a mark-making, hand monoprint and sectional layout. Design stencils from nature providing a graphic addition. Learn helpful techniques of scoring, folding, and adhering for this unique accordion structure. For the artist's physical health, a mini-series of gentle, accessible, range of motion exercises will be offered intermittently. These are helpful exercises for an artist's over-used areas: back, neck, shoulders and hands.
