Mixed Media Mosaic

Participants will have the opportunity to create a personal 12" x 12" mixed media mosaic incorporating personal images, found objects and stained and clear glass. Step-by-step instructions will be shared on creating a mosaic from start to finish including glass cutting, placement, working with images and found objects, adhesives and grouting. Participants are encouraged to bring objects they would like to incorporate including laser copies of photos and images. Participants are also encouraged to reach out to Anna prior to the workshop to discuss project ideas. Participants will leave with a completed 12" x 12" indoor mosaic.

Anna Meyrick is a professional mosaic artist with over 16 years of experience creating mosaics. She has a degree in psychology and fine arts and over 30 years of teaching experience. Anna is trained in painting, ceramics, sculpture, fiber arts and fine craft. She uses mixed media approach to create her mosaics. Anna shows her mosaics at galleries on the West Coast.
