Workshop Overview

Participants will investigate the current state of drawing within a contemporary context in this hands-on workshop. As the art world becomes more interdisciplinary, we as makers have the opportunity to clarify our intentions and employ systems and methodologies that clearly communicate our ideas. We will have the opportunity to use readings and discussions to define for ourselves "what is drawing?" Participants will be encouraged to continue to explore a current body of work or engage in studio prompts presented by the instructor.

Participants will be expected to maintain an active studio practice. No formal training or exhibition record required.
