Workshop Overview

Participants will investigate the current state of drawing within a contemporary context in this hands-on workshop. Instructor-led prompts and guided meditations will allow students to take risks and explore unexpected outcomes. We will embrace the landscape of the Sitka campus to practice mindfulness while exploring a range of materials and processes to help generate new ideas. Works will be contextualized though readings and group discussions.
