Workshop Overview

In this 3D Sculptural Watercolor workshop come prepared to think 'inside and outside the box'. Using small watercolor paintings with cut-out and painted shapes and images to create a shadowbox effect, we will create and construct a 3-dimensional diorama painting for wall or easel. Merge drawing and watercolor skills with rolled and layered watercolor paper with standoffs to create the illusion of a multidimensional surface. We will explore how to convert a recycled cardboard mini box into a pop-up, hand-painted sculptural art piece or micro habitat.
