This one-day workshop will present a comprehensive overview of large format photography, focusing primarily on black and white. You will get to handle field and rail cameras and learn about working with sheet film while learning about the advantages and disadvantages of working with large format view cameras. Additionally, we will cover what other equipment is needed and how to process your film. You will get to use a view camera in the field and experience a more contemplative way to make photographs. Participants will get to keep the negatives they expose.
