Workshop Overview

Sitka is the perfect setting to begin the Nature Journaling experience. On day one we will create a journal with removable pages, pockets for collections, and assorted papers for writing and different media. In the afternoon we will learn nature journaling techniques that will improve your observations and drawing skills to gain knowledge about your subjects. On day two we will practice colored pencil and watercolor techniques and continue to study structures of natural objects like plants and shells. Then we will try out our techniques and skill by journaling around Sitka.
