We will explore the local landscape for inspiration and materials, then experiment with different techniques of printing with what we’ve found to create mixed-media monotypes. We will strengthen our sense of design and color, challenge our preconceptions, and incorporate improvisation along the way. Participants will leave with small, finished pieces, but the focus of this workshop will be on experimenting with new techniques and creative approaches that students can incorporate into their own work at home.
