Everything needed for this workshop fits in one small case! Students will be creating dramatic art using black ink on white paper with just a touch of color. Margaret will help participants develop interesting personal patterns and shapes to tell a story. Days 1 and 2 will include pattern making with pen and ink. Day 3 we will spend the morning plein air painting, finishing these pieces later in the studio with line work. This is a perfect three-day workshop with a minimal number of supplies needed that adds new skills and ideas to the creation of art.
Margaret Godfrey is a multimedia artist living on the McKenzie River. Her workshops range from transparent watercolor to collage to graphic art. She has been teaching art workshops throughout Oregon for many years, emphasizing the importance of content and connecting with nature.
