Workshop Overview

Sheltering in place, by definition, is about hunkering down, restricting activity, constricting our lives in order to remain safe. Within the places we find ourselves, however, there is an opportunity to change and grow. The practice of writing can help us explore shifts that have already happened, reflect on where we are now, and find steady ground in the midst of grief and uncertainty. During this weekend retreat, simple exercises will invite each of us to write the stories of our lives through the places we've been and the ones we find ourselves in now. Our time “on the screen” will be broken up to allow for resting, walking, and being with ourselves, in place, supported by community.
