Workshop Overview

Explore the colorful world of luminous enamel jewelry as you create a unique silver jewelry piece with transparent glass enamels. Learn the techniques of applying fine silver wire in your own design to the metal surface, then practice wet packing the colored glass enamels for a painterly effect. Pieces will be kiln fired. Approaches to design, basic color theory, shading and blending will be covered, plus finishing techniques and ways of setting the enameled item to wear as jewelry.
