Workshop Overview

Using contemplative practices we'll engage with the energies of earth, air, fire, water and space, mixing simple mindfulness practices with photographic practice. Over the weekend we'll explore our internal experience of each element, its manifestation in the environment and in our creative work. Each day includes brief periods of sitting and outdoor walking meditation, photographic practice, viewing images and discussion. This approach invites the richness of our perceptual experiences, spontaneity, and both noticing and letting go of habitual ways of working.

Participants should be knowledgeable of their camera/technical controls, laptops and downloading images. Basic photography skills/printing not covered.
