Workshop Overview

In this workshop we will apply the theories of documentary photography to create a series of images that, when combined together, tell a visual story and give a sense of place. Participants should be prepared to do some light hiking and be outdoors for up to four hours at a time. Also they should have at least a basic understanding of how to manipulate their camera’s settings to achieve proper exposure. This is an excellent opportunity for those who want to increase their understanding of digital photography and gain experience making images, learn basic image manipulation and digital printing. Students will make at least one digital print.
