Workshop Overview

Expand your artistic repertoire with exercises designed to challenge, invigorate and breathe fresh air into your creativity. Through guided experimentation, we will use mixed media such as watercolor, collage, mark-making and drawing to generate initial sample works. We will then manipulate and recombine new imagery that explores texture, design, color, line and text. Together we will discover the unexpected. Learn to turn negative head-talk into productive problem-solving with design principles that strengthen your work. Participants will choose a portfolio or accordion style journal for their final project.
