Workshop Overview

Drawing the nude figure provides a strong foundation for developing the skills of rendering imagery. The class will explore the expressive potentials of mixed medias. The study of figure drawing provides a strong foundation for developing your overall drawing skills. In this class we will practice fundamentals and composition to help you improve your expressive imagery while learning the mechanics of drawing the figure.

About the Instructor(s)

Natalie Craig's goal in teaching is to offer students avenues into their own creative expression. She presents foundations in drawing/painting basics and composition and introduces the works of various artists to help promote expressive insight. Natalie is a studio artist in Northern California and exhibits her work nationally. She holds a BA from San Diego State University, an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art, and has participated in arts residencies in the US, Europe and South Africa to further her own creative work.
