Workshop Overview

The focus of this workshop is on generating new writing. Prompts that draw from nature and art (visual and literary) will help you delve deeper and find flow in your writing. We will do at least one guided writing meditation and practice the art of close observation as we listen to each other’s work. A weekend in the serene setting at Sitka will help deepen your attention on your creative writing project. This workshop is suitable for writers who are getting started on a new project and for those who are in the midst of a project.
