Workshop Overview

This is a thorough and exciting introduction to the world of digital photography. Topics covered include non-automatic shooting modes, creative control of camera functions and basic image editing in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. The demonstrations and lectures will b complemented by shooting opportunities in the field.

Extensive hands-on fieldwork and camera and software tutorials will provide you with the knowledge and practice to explore exposure, lighting, motion control and creative image-making.

About the Instructor(s)

Nicole Jean Hill is a professor of art at Humboldt State University. Her photographs and videos have been exhibited nationally and internationally, including the Blue Sky Gallery in Portland, Oregon, the Australia Center for Photography in Sydney and the Jen Bekman Gallery in New York City.
