Workshop Overview

Make that perfect journal, album, or recipe collection with pockets and sections for papers, drawings or mementos. Bring collections from home or gathered from walks around Sitka. On day one, you will learn to work with binding styles that allow you to add pages of different paper with inserts, pockets and a book that has windows cut and sealed with acetate to hold flat items. On day two, we will create a box for collectibles and a scroll that can hold objects, pictures or text. Participants will be introduced to various pasting, cutting, folding, construction and covering techniques.
