Workshop Overview

Workshop participants will create a linoleum print that addresses current environmental issues. We will begin by exploring artists that work with environmental themes. As a group we will discuss a common theme in which to design our images and decide on a group portfolio structure. Students will learn to carve and print at a minimum a one-color linoleum block. More advanced students will be able to work in multiple colors or on a larger scale. Students will create prints for each member of the workshop, exchange them and leave with a full print-portfolio generated in the class.
