Workshop Overview

In this Sitka Art Circle workshop, we will create a visual/verbal portrait. Each of us has an idea of how our expressions change according to mood, light or even how we would like to think we present ourselves. What does this look like? And what do we have to say about it? Often the sight of the portrait is seen as a formal stance, sometimes accompanied by notes from a journal, and sometimes soul searching. A brief presentation at the beginning of the four-hour session will show how various artists have portrayed themselves, and look at portraits in general.
