Workshop Overview

In this workshop we will meet at Sitka and travel together to walk around our newly acquired property, to see local plants and their relationship with the local Native American culture and heritage. Plant samples can be obtained. If you have mobility concerns please call the office for more information.

About the Instructor(s)

Stephanie Wood-Craig is Santiam and Yoncalla Kalapuya, Takelma Rogue River, Cow Creek Umpqua and Clackamas Chinook, enrolled with the Grand Ronde Tribe. She grew up listening to her Mother, Chich, and Aunties telling stories of our weaving traditions. Family baskets and weaving traditions have been passed down through seven generations.
