Workshop Overview

Whether we create pots or paintings or poems, our primary task is the daily re-creation of our selves. A rigid and unchanging self is comforting and reliable, but limited to repeating the same patterns over and over again. In this workshop we will step from the known to the unknown, examine automaticity in thought, movement and posture, hit PAUSE on our habits and come out of the turtle-like shells we have used to armor ourselves. Through movement, play, hands-on guidance and exploration of nature, we will begin to uncover a more free and authentic self to create more authentic art.
