Maddi Bacon is a non-binary artist, storyteller, and conservationist. They hold a BFA of Fine Art from the University of Delaware. Their art takes form in many mediums, including film, animation, comics and paintings. They are the author and illustrator of two different books, Desert Spell and Commotion in the Ocean, and several zines and minicomics, including Ancient Warrior and Notes From the Field. They have spent the past several years working seasonally for conservation corps, National Parks and National Forests, which has been the source of much inspiration for their work.
