Sascha Rose (she/they), a Haitian-American femme, connects ancestry, and sense of place, with heavily reverberated guitar into heartfelt melodies. She bridges the ambient, indie, and soul into genre-bending songs. Sascha Rose, while creating music for her own enjoyment, also honors its power to build community. Although adamantly independent, she loves collaborating with her musician friends in Portland, Maine, as well as in New Orleans and New Zealand. She continues experimenting with sounds that embody the natural elements of the earth and those that bring about a sense of belonging, familiarity, and nostalgia.
