Fran Qi is a lost engineer and a renewed writer. She was the editor of Stonefence Review at Dartmouth College and is returning to writing poetry and exploring fiction after a decade as a mechanical engineer. Her work draws inspiration from that time away, as well as from the natural world, historical events, linguistics, identity and whatever else she has lying around. She has previously been published in Sky Island Journal and Plain China.
