Ahimsa Timoteo Bodhrán is a multimedia artist, activist/organizer, critic and educator, weaving visual, acoustic, performative, textual and terrestrial techniques. Ahimsa’s work appears in 23 nations in the Américas, Africa, theArab world, Asia, Europe, Australia and the Pacific. A Tulsa Artist Fellow andNational Endowment for the Arts Fellow, he is the author of Archipiélagos; Antes y después del Bronx: Lenapehoking; and South Bronx BreathingLessons. Ahimsa is editor of the international queer Indigenous issue ofYellow Medicine Review: A Journal of Indigenous Literature, Art, and Thought; and co-editor of the Native dance, movement and performance issue of Movement Research Performance Journal. Ahimsa collaborates with Indigenous, womanist and queer/trans communities of color to create compelling multimedia.
