Ingrid Calame is an artist who lives and works in Los Angeles.  Ingrid’s work has been the subject of solo exhibitions at institutions such as The Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh, Scotland, the Kunstverein Hannover, Hannover Germany, the Albright Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia and the Savannah College of Art and Design Museum.  Her work is in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, NY, the Whitney Museum of American Art, NY, Albright Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo NY, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Angeles, CA and Kunstmuseum St. Gallen, Switzerland.  She is represented by Frith Street Gallery, London, UK and Galerie Anke Schmidt, Cologne, Germany.  Ingrid has written for East of Borneo, Frieze, Flash Art, and art issues.  She earned her BFA from State University in New York at Purchase, NY in 1987 and an MFA in Art and Film at California Institute of the Arts, Valencia, CA in 1996.
