Workshop Overview

In this two day workshop participants will explore a multitude of pour painting techniques including: Dirty Pour, Dutch Pour, Swipe, Flip Cup, Puddle Pour and more. This is going to be a fast paced, fun, abstract exploration with a lot of play. Participants will then take from what they learned and apply it to a landscape painting. There will be many works to take home, and the instructor will clear coat participant works in resin once they are cured.

About the Instructor(s)

Alison is a resin aficionado whose approach to teaching is to encourage students to learn to work with the resin and play with color and techniques in an environment where mistakes are encouraged and breakthroughs emerge prior to completion of the final piece. She evokes the little thrills of, "what if?" and addresses the students’ emotional relationship with the art when going from loving it, to not being so sure.
