Workshop Overview

Delve into the art of mark making with the "waxed powder painting" (WPP) technique in this workshop. WPP involves applying powder pigments directly to paper supports. Participants will gain hands-on experience in mixing colors with powder pigments, applying pigments using brushes, creating stencils, and preparing and applying wax. WPP works are finished with either cold wax or encaustic media. The workshop concludes with participants leaving with at least one completed WPP piece.
