Workshop Overview

This workshop begins with foraging for suitable materials for ink-making on Cascade Head. Participants will learn what to look for during foraging and how to identify appropriate materials. Upon returning to the studio, participants will start processing their foraged goods, learning various ink-making methods and allowing some to soak overnight. The following day we will finish our inks and experiment with modifiers as we chart our colors and play with the many possibilities. Molly will guide participants through her painting process, building layers with the "living" inks to craft a beautiful set of cards and small paintings to take home.
