Workshop Overview

Draw inspiration from the iconic ferns that grace the Sitka landscape and embark on a creative journey to craft a suncatcher-style mosaic using translucent stained glass. Begin by taking a brief outdoor excursion to sketch or photograph the intricate ferns that captivate your imagination. Armed with these visuals, use basic glass cutting tools to bring your mosaic to life on glass.

On the second day of the workshop, we'll complete the process by grouting the mosaic, transforming it into a radiant piece ready to adorn your window. Alternatively, if your mosaic is still a work in progress, you'll learn how to undertake this final step at home. Join us for a hands-on experience as we celebrate the beauty of nature through the art of stained glass mosaic.
