Nicola Harrison joined the Sitka team in 2019 and serves as the Assistant Director. Prior she served as the Executive Director for Community Arts Project whose youth arts programs are now being stewarded by Sitka Center. Since then, the youth program went from serving two Title 1 coastal schools in Tillamook County to six schools in both Lincoln and Tillamook County and continues to grow.

In addition to her professional experience, Nicola has a Bachelor of Science in Fine Arts and a minor in Art History.  She is a multimedia artist with a preference for oil painting and ceramics. She is fun-loving, joyful, and finds motivation in sharing her passion for making and appreciating art with others.
