Hutchcraft will read from her newly finished book of poems, Swale, and shares:

"So many pivotal poems in Swale were born at Sitka; it will be a gift to celebrate the book's release with you all... Quite simply: this book would not exist without Sitka, and for that (and more) I am immensely grateful."

Hutchcraft's poems, which are rooted in ecological concerns, draw inspiration from Oregon coastal places like Crowley Creek, the Salmon River estuary and Neskowin's "Ghost Forest."
